Sudoku solver Instructions

 To use the Sudoku solver click on the number as shown in the relevant square of the puzzle you are doing. I have found it easiest to work in rows from left to right.

The numbers which you select are shown in Black & the numbers which are solved in are shown in Red.

When there are 2 or more numbers shown in a square these are the possible numbers.

If you enter an incorrect number press the return key to delete your last selection. To reset the Sudoku solver, refresh the page.

You need Java enabled to view the Sudoku solver applet.

If you do not have Java installed you can obtain it from java.com. If do have Java you may need to check your security settings to make sure that applets are enabled. In Windows XP you may be able to enable the applet by clicking on the yellow bar at the top of the window and selecting "Allow blocked content".
