Installing a splash screen

Note:- You should always back up your device before installing any files. We cannot be held responsible for any losses.

1. Connect your Tomtom via the usb cable. or insert the Tomtom card into you card reader if you have one.

2. Open My computer & open the Tomtom directory

3. Locate the file called splash.bmp & right click it,

rename to something like splash001.bmp

4. Click the image of your choice from the selection above to open a splash file.

5. Right click on the image & click save picture as. choose My computer then Tomtom & save.

6. Turn off your Tom Tom and disconnect, or re-insert the card into the Tomtom.

7. Switch on your tomtom and you should see your new splash screen.

Note the file to be displayed on Tomtom must be named. " splash " in lower case, Section 2 &3 can be skipped if you don't want to save the original splash screen.
